This is a Genuine Subaru JDM Dual Armrest Extension. It allows you to have additional storage by creating a upper storage box using the factory armrest pad. This will also raise the position of the armrest overall to a much more comfortable level.

This item is pretty life changing, as a person who is 5' 10" it makes the center console actually usable. On the plus side it also gives an extra storage area to put my phone. Took maybe 20 minutes to install. Overall i'm pleased.

Fits great and it helps a surprising amount with additional storage. The only downside is the price. That being said, SubieBros has the best price around on this, fast shipping, and great service.

Great product, don't know why Subaru USA doesn't offer instead or in addition to their other armrest extension that offers no additional storage space. Installation is about as easy as it gets.

Very easy to install. It really helps for trips over 20mins. I have a back/shoulder pain, and I feel much better and can rest my arm right now. Thanks to the product.

The stock armrest is terrible, way too low and far back, especially for taller drivers. This both raises it and moves it forward, so your arm can actually rest on it. It's also nice to get a second storage cubby. Install was super easy, just need a screw driver and a few minutes.

When you drive the car stock the center console can't be called an arm rest. There might be a few, but most can't rest there arm there while driving properly. This is something that should have come with the car stock (among other things). Install is easy to do. It's fits good. The body of it has "movement" when handling it side to side, but makes no noise while driving. This also fixes that problem where the center console opens on its own. It does cost that much, but if you drive for more then 20 minutes buy it. Your back will thank you. No regrets here. Check out my youtube for a video on this product @jGRite.
