SP3C BUiLT is excited to introduce the first ever Walnut Blasting Valve Cleaning Kit for the FA20DIT Engine. This kit will help you complete an intake valve cleaning service using a media blaster and fine grit walnut shell media.
This kit includes:
- SP3C BUiLT Intake Valve Cleaning Adapter Made With High Strength Nylon Plastic
- Media Blasting Wand (with 1/4" threads)
- Rubber Stopper Plug
- Adapter Lockdown Bolt
- (Optional) 1/4" straight cut Thread Adapter Installed on Wand (This is required if you are using the suggested Harbor Freight Blaster)
To use this kit you will need:
- Media Blaster (What we used - CLICK HERE)
- Fine Grit Walnut Shell Media (What we used - CLICK HERE)
- Air Compressor (check your media blaster for specs needed)
- Shop Vac (and adapter if your hose is NOT 1.25 - 1.5" )

The SP3C BUiLT Intake Valve Cleaning Adapter mounts on top of the cylinder head on the intake valve port which is secured by the adapter lockdown bolt. You can then attach your shop vac and use the side ports in insert the media blaster wand attached to your media blaster and perform the walnut blasting service. You must make sure the valves are closed when using the kit.

Great Product
Great product, it was a key component in me completing the walnut blasting job on my WRX'17 (64,000 miles). I was also able to use the wand as a vacuum attachment to collected all the extra walnut media that fell into hard-to-reach areas. Great design SUBIE BROS!

Valve cleaning tool
Tool works great. However it's only as good as the tool pushing the media. The advertised harbor freight tool is finicky at best. Highly recommend a pressurized media container to use this tool without aggravation.

Wonderful kit for the DIY guy
The kit is awesome, and exactly what you need to clean you intake valves with minimal mess and having walnut shells everywhere. Used the recommend harbor freight equipment in conjunction with the kit and the valves came out great. Took me a lot longer than anticipated because the valves had 70k miles worth of build up on them. Took a lot of blasting but they came out brand new. Appreciate the kit, only downside is you’ll be having all you friend asking you to do theirs now lol

Works as expected
This kit worked exactly as I needed it to. Price is a little high for what you get, but since nobody else offers anything similar and the DIY crowd that would tackle a job such as this, I understand it. My only gripe with the tool is that the adapter that bolts to the intake port will lift up slightly during use, allowing some blast media to escape. Would have been nice to be able to use two bolts to hold the tool in place and maybe an o-ring.
